Covers bordered with gilt double fillet, and with the armorial stamp of Sir William Carr Beresford, Baron Beresford of Albuera and Dungarvan (later Viscount Beresford of Beresford) comprising his crest with collar and insignia of a K.B. in gold at the centres. Turn-ins gilt with fillets and ornaments at the corners. Spine with five raised bands, panelled in gold with fillets and gilt lettered.
