The Full Text of the Statute with Copious Annotations

THIRD AND REVISED EDITION, 1908

By JOHN J. CRAWFORD, of the New York Bar

By Whom the Statute was Drawn

The adoption of this law so generally by the different States has made it one of the most important statutes ever enacted in this country. Hardly any case now arises upon a negotiable instrument but requires the application of some provision of the Act.

The standard edition of the law is that prepared by the draftsman. In this Third Edition the author has cited upwards of two hundred new cases, in which the statute has been construed or applied. These are not only important in the states where they were rendered, but also in all other states where the statute is in force.

All of the original annotations are preserved. These are not merely a digest and compilation of cases, but indicate the decisions and other sources from which the various provisions of the statute were drawn. A specially important feature is that the notes point out the changes which have been made in the law.

CRAWFORD'S ANNOTATED NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS LAW, Third Edition (1908), is a neat octavo volume, bound in law canvas. Price, $3.00 net, but sent by mail or express, prepaid, on receipt of the amount.
