All: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

AMEN BY THE CHOIR.

4. Responsive Sentences.

Congregation standing.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness
thereof,

The world and they that dwell therein.
Honor and majesty are before Him;

Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
How precious is Thy loving kindness, O God,
And the children of men take refuge under
the shadow of Thy wings.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us;
And cause His face to shine upon us.
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to
Thy loving kindness;

According to the multitude of Thy tender
mercies blot out my transgressions.

I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before me;

Hide Thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities.

The eternal God is thy resting place,
And underneath are the everlasting arms.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

5. Hymn 172. Tune, St. Anne.

(172 Hymn Book.)

O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast
And our eternal home!

Under the shadow of Thy throne
Thy saints have dwelt secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defence is sure.

Before the hills in order stood,
Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same.

The Propagation of the Kingdom
Ye are the light of the world.
A city set on a hill cannot be hid.

I will give thee for a light unto the nations, That thou mayst be my salvation unto the ends of the earth.

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;

And all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light,

They that dwell in the shadow of death, unto them hath the light shined.

And they shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks, Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings; That publisheth peace.

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest

that he send forth laborers into his harvest. Therefore, seeing we have received this ministry, we faint not; not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully,

But by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Freely ye have received, freely give.
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable
gift.

2. The Call to Worship.

Sentence by the Minister.

3. The Invocation.

Minister: O Spirit Eternal, who fillest all
things, the Life of all that is and the
Father of our spirits; breathe upon us as-
sembled here that we may indeed live be-
fore Thee. Confirm us in the truth;
strengthen us in the right; inspire in us the
love that is born of Thee; and grant that
we may wait before Thee in confidence
and expectancy to receive the pardon of
our sins and Thy gracious help for all
needs that are upon us.
And enable us to
render the sacrifice of thankful hearts in
the service of Thy kingdom, through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
