Subfamily COSMOPHORINAE

Placement of this group in the cyclostomine section of the Braconidae seems not to be tenable. The clypeus, while impressed, is not circularly emarginate as in cyclostomines, and in habits and larval structure the species resemble the Euphorinae. For the present the group is treated here as a distinct subfamily, but it is removed from the cyclostomine section of the family and placed after the Euphorinae. It may eventually need to be reincorporated in that subfamily.
