Subfamily COSMOPHORINAE
Placement of this group in the cyclostomine section of the Braconidae
seems not to be tenable. The clypeus, while impressed, is not circularly emar-
ginate as in cyclostomines, and in habits and larval structure the species
resemble the Euphorinae. For the present the group is treated here as a
distinct subfamily, but it is removed from the cyclostomine section of the
family and placed after the Euphorinae. It may eventually need to be rein-
corporated in that subfamily.
