4229. 1. Clark, Cadwell. W. R. K.. Oct. 19, 1914. My Cadwell line is as follows: Thomas (1) married Elizabeth Stebbins 1658; Samuel (2), born April 30, 1675, marrled Mary Clark March 6, 1707; Samuel (3). born Nov. 1, 1710, married, July 15, 1737, Elishabe (3) Brace (Henry 2. Stephen 1): Joseph (4), born Sept. 1, 1745, married, June 26, 1766, Thankful (7) Sedgwick (Abraham 6, Ebenezer 5, Samuel 4, William 3, General Robert 2, William 1); Joseph (5). born May 7, 1768, married, Oct. 27, 1790, Chloe (9) Kellogg (George 8, Jacob 7, Samuel 6, Joseph 5, Martin 4, Philippe 3. Thomas 2, Nicholas 1); Amanda (6). born, Dec. 27, 1797, married, Nov. 10, 1818, Joseph House. His son. Robert House, born Sept. 7. 1819, married, Sept. 12, 1843, Lucy Ann Goff. His daughter, Sarah Elizabeth House, born Oct. 8, 1846, married James Henry Goff Oct. 24, 1866. My Goff line is: James Henry (9); Deuel (8); Deuel (7): Josiah (6); Benjamin (5); Philip (4): Philip (3): Philip (2); Philip (1) of Wethersfield, Conn.

My information on the Brace line is not as full as I should like. If W. R. K. could give dates, etc., of Stephen (1) with a list of children and the same for Henry (2) I should be very grateful. Have the names and dates of four of Henry's children, viz., Ann, born Dec. 28, 1706-7; Phebe, born Jan. 6, 1707-8; Phebe again, born Dec. 23, 1710; and Henry, born March 15, 1712-13, but not the balance. Would also like list of children of Joseph (4) Cadwell and Thankful Sedgwick. If W. R. K. has any suggestion as to places to look for Mary Clark which he has not already tried, would be glad to do the necessary work. Am also descended in another line from Thomas (1) Kilbourne of Wethersfield and John Curtis (1) and widow Elizabeth.

4257. 1. Sawyer, Chase. W. B. G., Sept. 16, 1914. There seems to be no record in Essex County of the Jeremiah Sawyer and Jane Chase who are quoted, nor of their children. Jeremiah Sawyer is reported in the Newbury Vital Records as baving been born to Abigail of Brentwood, N. H. No father is mentioned. The probability is that Jane Chase was of the Thomas line, emigrant to Hampton, and his descendants went up into the towns horth of Hampton, and many of them into Brentwood. I do not find any Jane Chase, who will fit the case, among the descendants of Aquila Chase, and if your correspondent will write, or go to Concord, N. H., where there is a very full account of these things, he will doubtless get some ight. W. E. G.
