INTRODUCTION

A Box of Nails for Busy Christian Workers, published in 1896, having proved such an immense blessing to hundreds of weary workers, and the cry for More Nails being so pressing and constant, we have decided to provide more of these useful helps to meet the need of our overworked brethren, many of whom are faithfully serving the Master under great disadvantages.

Our only purpose in preparing and publishing these Headed, Straight, and Pointed Nails is to be a real assistance to those who have little time to gather material themselves for their many services. And as the "King's business requireth haste," it is always wise and well to have both Hammer and Nails close at hand Ready for immediate use, so that the Master's work may not be hindered by delay. A few selected thoughts as pointed Nails, simply arranged and wisely used, will prove valuable helps to both Preachers and Teachers in the rush of Active Service of to-day. They stimulate the mind, aid the memory, and tend to fix definite ideas of Truth upon the heart, and enable busy workers to render more efficient service to the Lord Jesus.
