HISTORIC MEMORIALS OF THE LONDON THEATRES AND Other Places of Public Amusement, INCLUDING TAVERNS AND TEA GARDENS, EXHIBITIONS, FAIRS, VAUXHALL GARDENS, MARYLEBONE GARDENS, IN CUPER'S GARDENS, RANELAGH, THE DOG AND DUCK, DRAWINGS, PRINTS, BILLS, TICKETS, PARAGRAPHS FROM OLD NEWSPAPERS, &c. &c. In one large and thick volume, 4to, elegantly bound in russia extra, with borders round the sides, russia joints, and gilt leaves, £84. This extraordinary and most interesting volume has never appeared in any sale, but is from the collection of a gentleman renowned for his taste and judgment in all that concerns the history of the Drama and Literature of Great Britain. In the formation of this collection, no pains or expense was spared; the curious and rare Theatrical admission tickets were procured from the collection of Mr. Richardson (sold by auction some years since); the unique and extraordinary assemblage of paragraphs and advertisements were formerly in Lysons' collectanea, and were purchased from the late Mr. Upcott, at an expense of Forty pounds; the greater portion of the prints, &c. are of the utmost rarity; and the total cost to its late possessor was upwards of Two Hundred Pounds.
