A perfect copy contains 1110 pages and nearly 80 woodcuts, those before the Psalms and Proverbs filling the whole breadth of the page. Grafton brought a copy of this Bible into England in the early part of the year 1537, and showed it to Archbishop Cranmer, and begged of him to obtain permission for its distribution, which was granted.-ED.]
