Teacher of piano and for many years associate vice-president
of "Texas Music Teachers Association," and in 1898 only repre-
sentative from that state to the "Music Teachers' National Asso-
ciation," which met in the auditorium of the Waldorf Astoria,
New York City. Also for many years teacher of an adult Bible
Class in Presbyterian Sunday School, now resigned, having always
held it to be wrong to teach in any organization the tenets of
which are publicly disavowed.
