The Essays to be subject to the following
The Essays must be very concise, the unassisted and original composition of the Candidates, whose ages must not exceed sixteen, all which must be attested by some respectable Minister. The Essay to be accompanied with a letter sealed, containing the name and address of the writer, and the attestation of the Minister, having a private mark outside corresponding with the mark to be affixed to the Essay, which only will be handed to the arbitrators of the Prizes.
The letters will not be opened till the best Essays are fixed upon, the decision of which will be referred to the
