It was still unpublished at the period of his Abdication, when its progress was forbidden, and the coppers destroyed, which accounts for its extreme rarity. When copies have occurred for and Progresses of Napoleon, displayed in the most picturesque inanner, sale, they have fetched large sums. The plates exhibit the principal Battles

and engraved in a style inconceivably beautiful.
