The following auto trips are suggested:

Bear Creek Canon and High Drive, can only be made in carriages.
The Cliff Dwellers' Ruins, Manitou, admission 75c.

In the evening dinner is served a la carte at the Broadmoor Casino
followed by a dance.

The entire day has been held open for the Cripple Creek trip, one of the most gorgeous sights of the entire State of Colorado. Arrangements have been made for special train at $2.50 per passenger, luncheon to be served by the League on the train. This trip occupies the greater part of the day, including a two hour stop, and can only be made if at least 100 signify their consent to take the same. Therefore, you should immediately signify your consent on arriving at the Convention, so that proper arrangements for special train can be made.

A prominent newspaper man, describing the Cripple Creek trip, says: "I cannot enumerate all of the wonders of the Pike's Peak region, but I must not pass the grandest and most interesting feature of them all-that is a trip over the 'Short Line' railroad from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek. From the time of leaving Colorado Springs in the morning, until the return at 6:00 P. M., it is one continuous panorama of Nature's most gorgeous mountain and canon scenery.

Instead of following a path already prepared, this road boldly assails the mountain backbone, and forces a way over forbidding heights—here carved out of the solid rockthere skirting the rims of dizzy abysses-yonder zigzagging to accomplish the ascent of great walls-from mountain top to mountain top-while ever and anon, matchless views of the plains are unfolded to the enraptured gaze of the traveler. There is nothing like it in all the entrancing grandeur Colorado holds within her confines."

The courtesies of the Elk's Home are extended to all members of the League and their ladies during the time of the Convention.

The Chamber of Commerce has convenient lounging and writing rooms in the Burns Theatre Building, to which all are welcome.

Any visitors desiring to play golf will be given cards to the Colorado Springs Golf Club upon application to the Entertainment Committee.

In addition to the above general plan, there will be other forms of entertainment for the ladies during the business sessions, the details of which will be announced later.
