LETTER FROM JUDGE DILLON, NEW YORK CITY. The Grand Secretary read a letter from Judge Dillon, a former and long-time resident and public officer in Iowa, presenting to the Iowa Department of the Library a volume which he had recently had privately printed for friends, and not for general distribution. At the conclusion of the installation ceremonies, Past Grand Master Ball presented Brother Eaton, Grand Master, an apron for him to present in due form to Past Grand Master Lambert, which he did in a few appropriate remarks, whereupon Past Grand Master Lambert returned his thanks to the brethren of the Grand Lodge in a feeling manner. RESOLUTION-THANKS TO CEDAR CHAPTER 0. E. S. Brother Coxe (26) presented and read the following resolution of thanks, and moved its adoption, which— Carried. Resolved, That the thanks of this Grand Lodge are due and are hereby tendered to the ladies of the Order of the Eastern Star for the courteous invitation to a reception at the Grand Lodge Library building this evening, and the same is gratefully accepted by the Grand Lodge on behalf of such as may be able to avail themselves of the privileges of the occasion.
