[NOTE. These catalogues, excellently compiled by Messrs. O. E. Janson & Son, of Great Russell Street, covered a wide field. The books were not, however, particularly valuable as a whole, and large numbers were collected into parcels and sold in single lots. These are necessarily omitted in the following report.-ED.]
