No date or printer's name, but supposed to be printed at Antwerp, by John Doesbrowe, 1502 This is the first edition of this very curious chronicle or Medley relating to the Manners, Customs, Laws, etc. of the City of London. It is much sought after by collectors of old poetry, as it contains THE FIRST EDITION of the beautiful old ballad of the Nut-Brown Maid. Warton observes of this work that it is perhaps the most heterogeneous and multifarious miscellany that ever existed.
