the Publisher begs to state that the First Series contains that
portion of the Journal, commencing with the second number, and ending with the twelfth; embracing among many other interesting articles, those papers illustrative of " The History of the Streets of

He has been induced
to make the present selection of the Numbers, in consequence
of many persons wishing to avail themselves of the earlier portion of this periodical.
