For the future the PROCEEDINGS of the Cambridge Philological Society will be brought out only in separate form and will not be bound up with the TRANSACTIONS.

Besides the copies sent out to members a limited number may be obtained from the Society's Publishers, Messrs TRÜBNER AND Co., 57 and 59, Ludgate Hill, London. Price 1s. for each Term, or 28. 6d. for the year.

LENT TERM, 1884.

FIRST MEETING,

AT the Annual Meeting held in St John's College, at 8.30 p p.m., on Feb. 7, the President, Prof. SKEAT, in the Chair, the following new member was elected:

J. D. DUFF, Esq., B.A., Trinity College.

The Treasurer's annual statement of accounts, having been duly audited, was adopted.

In the absence of the Treasurer his report on the finances of the Society was read by the Secretary.

The Secretary gave his report on the condition in the past year; and explained the reasons which had made the appointment of two Secretaries desirable.

The following officers were then elected for the ensuing year:
President: Professor SKEAT (re-elected).

New Vice-President: Mr MOULTON.

New ordinary Members of Council: Dr KENNEDY (re-elected),
PEILE (re-elected), Mr FENNELL.

Mr NIXON (re-elected).

POSTGATE (re-elected), Mr VERRALL.
