About the author (1991)

Campbell Gillon, Senior Minister of Georgetown Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., for the past eleven years, stands in the tradition of the great Scottish preachers. Since leaving his native land in 1980, Gillon has gained a reputation as one of the most thoughtful and provocative interpreters of Christian experience in the nation's capital.
