The attempt to discharge its duties has been one of the most pleasant things of my life. In parting, let me say to you that all my heart and sympathy is with you and your organization. May it be the good fortune of the Bar of Virginia, in the future, to hold up the standard of honor, which we have heard to-day has been untarnished in the past; and may the Bar of Virginia stand, as it has always done, in the front rank of the Bar of the world.
