attractions to have totally escaped notice. Since
the time of Dryden, who says satirically,
“Home is the sacred refuge of our life,
Secured from all approaches but a wife,
several eminent poets have successfully touched
on the same topic, especially Burns and Campbell.
But I have never met with any poem, written ex
