* John i. 14, 18; v. 18. Rom. viii. 32.

Mat. iii. 17.

1 Phil. ii 6.

Thou, O Bleffed Jefu, art the Only Son of God, the Only Begotten Son, full of Grace and Truth; Thou art the Only Beloved Son, in whom Thy Father is well pleafed; 'tis only in Thee, and for Thee, that finners have hope; and therefore all Love, all Glory be to Thee.

Thou art Equal' to Thy Father, O Jefu, in Amiableness and in Love to us, and art equally to be loved by us; and therefore all Love and Praise be to the Father that I John v. 1. eternally begat," and to the Son Eternally

Begotten.

kAnd the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. No man hath feen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bofom of the Father, He hath declared Him.

Therefore the Jews fought the more to kill Him, because He had not only broken the fabbath, but faid also that

God was His Father, making Himfelf equal with God.

He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how fhall He not with Him alfo freely give us all things?

And lo a voice from Heaven, faying, This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.

1 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

Looking for that bleffed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jefus Christ.

• And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jefus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

P In His days Judah fhall be faved, and Ifrael fhall dwell fafely and this is His name whereby He fhall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

q Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Chrift came, Who is over all, God bleffed for ever. Amen.

Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in His apparel, travelling in the greatness of His strength? I that speak in righteoufnefs, mighty to fave.

Born of the Uirgin Mary.

BELIEVE, O most Adorable Humility, that Thou waft at last born into a Luke ii. 6, the world, that Thou having only God for Thy Father, and Mary, a pure virgin, for Thy mother, whom all generations do Luke i. 48. call blessed, both Thy conception and birth were perfectly Immaculate, that be

fwered and faid unto her,
The Holy Ghost shall
come upon thee, and the
power of the Highest

therefore also that holy

And she spake out with
a loud voice, and faid,
Bleffed art thou among
