Note. The title of Vol. I. is different in some copies, reading "for the Year 1831 and a Part of 1830," and omitting all that follows "Vol. I." The nos. of the "Journal" for Aug. Dec. 1830 were published as the first part (but not so designated) of Vol. I. of the "Annals," by merely altering their titles, headings, paging, and signatures. Part II. of Vol. I. (comprising the nos. for Jan.-Dec. 1831) is paged independently, and was also published with an independent title-page.
