MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY,
JUNE 9th, 10th and 11th, 1884,

BY

GEO. A. LEAVITT & CO., Auctioneers.

THE BOOKS WILL BE ON EXHIBITION FOR ONE WEEK BEFORE THE SALE.

ORDERS TO PURCHASE WILL BE EXECUTED FREE OF CHARGE BY THE AUCTIONEERS.

"At HENRY C. MURPHY'S sale at LEAVITT'S, I had a number of bids for not very costly books. Some booksellers intimated to me that it was a bad policy to bid a fixed limit, as the auctioneer would seldom stop short of that limit. I RECEIVED THIRTY PER CENT, OF THE BOOKS I BID FOR, NEVERTHELESS, OFTEN AT LESS PRICES THAN I BID, and knew no soul in the place."-Extract from the NEW YORK TRIBUNE of March 23d, 1884.
