42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

‘૪૨ નેશભામાંથી ઇહુદી નીકલીગ તાહારે પરદેશીઓએ વી નંતી કરી કે એ વાતા આવતે શાબતે ફરી તેને પરગઢ કહેવાએ

43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

૪૩ ને મંડલી વેરાઇ ગચ્છ પછે ઇહુદીઓમાંના તથા થએલા ઈ હુદી શુભકતામાંના ઘણા પાઊલની તથા ખારણબાની પાછલ ગ આ ને એઓએ તેની શાથે બાલીને દેવની છીપા પર થીર રહેવા નું તેઓને બનાએવું

44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole eity together to hear the word of God.

૪૪ ને આવતે શાબતે આશરે આખા શહેરના દેવની વાત શાં ભલવા એકઠા થ

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

૪૫ પશુ ઇહુદીઓ ભીડને બ્રેઈને આવેશથી ભરાઈ ગઆ ને પા ઊલથી જે કેહેવામાં તેહને ઊલટું બોલતાં ને દુર ભાશણુ કરતાં તેઓએ તકરાર કીધી

46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necssary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

૪૬ તારે પાઊલે તથા બારણુબાએ નીરને થઇને કહું કે દેવ ની વાત પેહેલાં તમને કહેવાની જરૂર હતી પણ તમે તેને વેગલી

કરાછા ને પાતાને અનંત જીવનને શારૂ નાલાએક ઠરાયોછો માટે જુઓ હુને પરદેશીઓની ગન ીએઇએ

47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I haye set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldert be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

૪૭ કેમકે હુનને પરભુએ અન હુકમ આએષા કે હું પરથવીના છેડા સુધી ઊધારનું કારણ થાએ માટે મેં તને પરદેશીઓના અજવા લારૂપ સુંકાળે

48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

૪૮ ને પરદેશીઓ તે શાંભલીને ખુશ થઆ ને પરભુની વાતને તેઓએ નીના આપો ન જેટલાને અનંત જીવન ને શારૂ ઠરાએ ના હતા તેટલાએ વીશવાશ કીધો

49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

૪૯ ને તે આખી પર્યંતનાં પરભુની વાત પરગટ કરાઈ

50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

૫૦ પશુ ઇહુદીઓએ શુભકત તથા નાઁનદાર ખાએડીઓને તથા શહેરના નાહટા લોકોને ઊશકેીને પાઊલ તથા બારણબા પર શ તાવી ઊભી કરી ને પાતાની શીનામાઁથી તેઓને કાહાડી નુકાએવા

51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

૫૧ પશુ એ પોતાના પગની ધુલ તેને ઊલી ખંખેરીને કાનીનાં આએવા

52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

પર તાહાર શીશો આનંદે તથા પીતર આતમાએ ભરેલા હતા

1 And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.

૧ ને ઈકાનીનાં અઁન થી કે તેઓએ ઇહુદીઓની શભાનાં શાથે જઈને એ પરમાણે કહું કે ઇહુદીઓમાંના તથા હેલતાશીમાંના ઘણા લોકોએ વીશવાશ કીધો*

2 But the unbeileving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil effected against the brethren. ૨ પશુ અવીશવાશી ઇહુદીઓએ પરદેશીઓને ઊશકેરીને તેઓ નાં મન ભાઈને ઊલટાં કીધાં

3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands

૩ તેમાટે તેઓએ ઘણા દાણાડા રહીને હુમતથી પરભુ શમંધી કહું ને તેણે પોતાની કીરપાની વાતની શાખીતી આપતાં તેના હાથોથી ચનતકારો તથા અચરતા થવા દીધા

4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with apostles.

૪ પણ શેહેરના લોકોનાં પુટ પડી ને કેટલાએક ઈહુદીઓની ગમ તથા કેટલાએક નોકલેલાની ગન થઆ

5 And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,

૫ ને તેને શતાવવા તથા પથરે ભારવા શારૂ નહાર ધટ ગીનાંનાં તથા પોતાના અધીકારીઓ ક્ષુધાં ઈહુદીઓમાંનામ નાં હુલાઁ

6 They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra· and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about.

• તાહાર તે [તે] ભણીને હુકાનીનાંનાં બ્રુશતરા તથા દેખે લોહેરોમાં તથા ચારો ગનની જંગેનાં નાહાથી ગ

? And there they preached the gospel.
૭ ને તાાં તેઓએ શારા શનાચાર પરગટ કીધા

8 [ And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's wbmb, who never had walked.

૮ ને બ્રુશતરામાં અશકત પગ વાલો એક જણ બેઠો હુતો જે પોતાની નાના પેટથી ખુલા છતાં કદી ચાલો નહોતા

e The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly be holding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed

૮૯ તેણે પાઊલને ખેાલતાં શાંભલા તાારે એણે તે પર ધારી

ને તથા તેને શભા કરાવવાના વીશવાશ છે એ જંણીને

10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

૧. નેહાટે શાદે કહું કે તું પોતાને પગે પાધરો ઊભા રહે તાહાર તે કુદીને ચાલે

11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness to men.

૧૧ ને પાઊલે જે કીધું હતું તે નેશ્મા પર લોકાએ હુકાનીની ખે લીમાં નહુંટે શાહે કહ્યું કે નાણુશાનું રૂપ ધરીને ટેબ હમારી પાશે ઊતરાછે

12 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

૧૨ ને તેઓએ બારણાંને ભશપતી ને પાઊલ સુખી બાલ નાર હતા માટે તેણેને બુધ કહો

13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

૧૩ ને ભરેશપતી. [જેણેનું ડહેરૂં તેના શેહેરની આગલ હુતુ તેણે ના પુજારાએ લોકો સુધર્યાં પુલના હારો શમત ગોધા રો લાવીને ગન કરવા ચાહો

બારણા પા

14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they went their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

૧૪ પણ મેકોલાએ [એટલે] બારણુખાએ તથા પાઊલે [તે] શાંભલા પર પોતાનાં લુઘડાં ગડીને લોકોમાં ટાડીને માટે ઘાંટે કહું

15 And saving, Sirs, why do ye these things? We are also men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein :

૧૫ કે આ નાણુશા તને એ કાંના કેંન કરાણે હુમેં પણ તના રા શરખા શુખ દુખ ભોગવનાર માઁણુશ છુઇએ ને તને આ અવ રથાપાઁથી આકાશ તથા પરથવી તથા શત્રુન્દર તથા તેમાંનાં રઘાંના પેદા કરનાર જીવતા દેવની ગન ા માટે હુને તમને શારા શમાચાર પરગટ કરીએઈએ

16 Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

૧૬ તેણે ગઈ પેડીઓનાં શદ્મલા પરદેશીને પોતા પોતાને ભારગે ચાલવા દીધું
